Mary Magdalene and Jesus both would have clearly worn silk. We have coined a Hebrew word ‘Sheysh’, which means “six” ( silk thread often woven from six cocoon filaments. ‘Sheysh’ means silk woven with linen. ‘Sheysh’ expresses something English words do not, about style, beauty and authentic understanding of ones place in relation to the beauty of nature. Everyone in their time wore sheysh.
